David and Jennifer VanDeVelde created Wholesome Pickins Market & Bakery, a bustling farm operation located in Delhi, ON. Both University of Guelph graduates, David and Jenn returned to the family tobacco farm in 2006 and created Wholesome Pickins. Through strong roots in the community and a passion for innovation, they have been blessed to grow the agriculture business over the past 16 years. Wholesome Pickins produces over 200 acres of crops including strawberries, asparagus, raspberries, pumpkins, rhubarb, tobacco and a variety of field and cover crops. The operation continues to expand the retail farm market and scratch bakery each season, adding delicious goods created with local ingredients. Looking forward, David and Jenn will continue to keep community at the forefront, roots in agriculture, and a drive for innovation and collaboration within the industry.
